Beginners
If you are just beginning, you will get the personal attention you deserve. I will take the time to go over all the intricacies so to better facilitate the learning experience. I will teach you everything from knots and equipment to casting, line control and fly selection. We can examine stream ecology, trout habitat and entomology.
Advanced Fly Fishing
Possibly you don’t need the step by step instruction. You may only wish to refine your skills, or perhaps you’re an experienced angler and don’t want to pass up a golden opportunity to cast a line in one of Central New York’s many Rivers and Streams. You may simply be new to the area and would like the assistance of a stream side advisor.
I can also teach Spey style casting for those interested in this style of casting.
