tiger musky in nine mile by Brad Stalter on Mon, May 24

Hey everyone,

I just submitted a pic I took with my cell phone of the Tiger Musky I saw. Has anyone ever seen one in the creek before? is this something some one could have cought in the lakes and then released into the creek? It had a hook in what looked like it's head or nose, but you can't really see it on the pic. Any comments are appreciated.

I'm not going to mention where but I tracked one last week and was able to hook into him and only lost him after being broken off in a large cluster of logs/sticks. I came prepared with my 9wt which was probably over kill and some pike streamers. He certainly put up a good fight with some great runs and jumps. He is still in there and I'm still tracking him.

I hope that who ever catches it releases it unharmed, they are beautiful fish.

sure they'll eat lots of trout but they'll be caught out befor too long i'd bet. i'm just wondering how one can track a tiger musky' i suppose it leaves fin prints in the mud along the bank as it scoots from pool to pool
